Hydrating Turmeric and Chickpea Face Mask

This nourishing face mask is perfect for dry, dull skin and those with sun damage, acne and eczema. Regularly using this natural, home-made face mask will leave your friends complimenting your glowing skin and asking how you did it!

This face mask contains no harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances that damage the skin barrier and contribute to toxicity. The contained yoghurt helps to balance the skins microbiome, reduce acne/spot breakouts, reduce wrinkles and treat infections. Turmeric reduces inflammation, rashes, reduces acne and brightens the skin tone. Almond oil is extremely nourishing, reduces puffiness, improves skin complexion/tone, reverses sun damage and reduces scars. Lemon juice is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce skin damage and premature aging. Honey is deeply hydrating, clears pores, reduces scar appearance, fights acne and spots and relieves sensitivity. Chickpeas are rich in magnesium which help reduce wrinkles and increase skin elasticity.

Facemask Recipe


  • 1 tbsp chickpea flour

  • 2 tsp almond oil

  • 2 tsp honey

  • 2 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 2 tsp coconut yoghurt


  1. Mix all the ingredients together until a paste forms.

  2. Wash your face and use a cleanser to ensure no dirt or make-up is left on the skin.

  3. Dry your face and apply a thick layer of the paste onto the skin.

  4. Leave the face mask on for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Rinse the face mask off with room temperature water and pat dry.
