Nutritional Therapy
Initial Consultation.
Service Description
What is Nutritional Therapy? Nutritional therapy combines the use of food, dietary plans, fasting, supplementation and lifestyle changes to facilitate health and wellbeing goals. Nutritional therapists support and guide their clients to make healthier choices and facilitate good health. Health goals may include weight reduction, diabetes support, asthma improvement, migraine reduction, mental health improvement, healthy pregnancy support etc. As Hippocrates once said "let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food", nutritional therapy focuses on food as medicine to optimise health. What Makes This Session Differ from a Naturopathic Consultation? Nutritional Therapy is for clients who solely want to focus on food as medicine and are not open to any other modalities of healing other than nutrition, occasional supplementation and moderate lifestyle changes. This excludes the use of herbal medicines, tissue salts, iridology, functional testing, kinesiology, traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic techniques, Bach flowers, homeopathic remedies, essential oil therapy, coaching, emotional release work, law of attraction techniques, german new medicine techniques, DNRS techniques etc. What To Expect During an Initial Consultation? Initial consultations typically last 2.5 hours to ensure optimal information has been gathered and the case fully understood. Lekita discusses medical history, symptoms, lifestyle factors, diet and medication intake in detail, alongside using techniques such as kinesiology and tongue, pulse and nail diagnostics to determine the true cause of disease. Once the consultation is complete, a nutritional plan will be sent to the client. The initial consultation will cost £300 for the session plus an in depth, personalised nutritional plan. Follow-up appointments should be booked in for 2 weeks-1 month following consultation.
